My son, Austion, passed away 10 years ago. He was 18, and it has been a long journey. It wasn't until I joined Bridle Up Hope that I truly found peace.
The instructors go above and beyond any expectations I had. The kindness and understanding they have is so heartfelt. My instructor, Isa, took me to a whole other level of connection, patience, and calmness. I can recite everything I have learned from her. I was so engaged by the 7 Habits because she made it so interesting.
I learned so much about horses: how to watch and to learn from them, and why they do the things they do. It's amazing how smart and sensitive horses are; how they can feel your energy and how you can communicate with them. Habit 5, Seek First To Understand Then To Be Understood, helped me apply the same method when working with human beings.
The 7 Habits really gave me the tools to help me navigate through life in an effective, positive way. I have eliminated unnecessary negativity with Habit #4, Think Win-Win. I apply the 7 Habits in everyday life. I love Habit #2, Begin With The End In Mind, it's a new way of seeing things. Thank you, Rose, for bringing Bridle Up Hope to San Jose and welcoming all of us. It is a place with camaraderie and sisterhood at the barn. It's a place where you always feel welcome and get support, help, love, and true friendship. It's beautiful that compassion, positive energy, and good vibes are always flowing abundantly.
Thank you, my heart and soul are filled with joy.
